|Columbus - Each year Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation holds a gala to benefit Volunteers in Medicine Clinic. This year's event, Fire & Ice, is scheduled for Friday, November 12, at Holiday Inn. |
Guests will enjoy an evening of sensory extremes beginning with cocktails, an exquisite dinner prepared by Chef Daniel Orr of FARMBloomington, and intense laughter with the irony and hilarity of Heywood Banks. The evening will only be complete with a rousing Reverse Raffle that culminates in a $10,000 grand prize!
"We're thrilled to have nationally renowned Chef Daniel Orr and Heywood Banks at this year's event to support VIM," commented Julie Abedian, Foundation President. "This community has always supported the clinic, and we look forward to another successful fundraiser."
"Where else can you get a world-class meal and entertainment for $50 per person?" asks Julie.
Event tickets, which include a raffle ticket, are $150 for individuals or $200 for a couple. Raffle tickets cost $100 each and only 500 tickets will be sold. The grand prize raffle winner need not be present to win.
All event proceeds benefit Volunteers in Medicine Clinic, which relies on these funds for one-fourth of its annual operating budget.
