Each year Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation holds a gala to benefit the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic. This year's event, “Once in a Lifetime,” is scheduled for Friday, November 11, at Holiday Inn.
The black-tie-optional event will feature dinner prepared by nationally renowned Chef Daniel Orr of FARMBloomington and a steel drum band. The evening also includes a reverse raffle drawing for a $10,000 grand prize!
Event tickets, which include a raffle ticket, are $170 for individuals or $240 for a couple. Raffle tickets cost $100 each and only 500 tickets will be sold. The grand prize raffle winner need not be present to win.
All event proceeds benefit Volunteers in Medicine Clinic, which relies on these funds for one-fourth of its annual operating budget.
For raffle tickets and sponsorship information call Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation at 812-376-5100 or visit www.reverseraffle.wordpress.com.
Volunteers in Medicine Clinic is a free healthcare clinic for Bartholomew County residents who are without access to healthcare due to low income and are unable to qualify for Medicare or Medicaid because they earn too much. A dedicated group of volunteer physicians, dentists, nurses and community volunteers enable the clinic to offer every citizen access to diverse and far-reaching healthcare service.
