|Columbus - Volunteers in Medicine announced today that Tina Latta, FNP, has been hired as Clinical Director of Volunteers in Medicine. |
Tina, who has a doctorate of nursing science from Breyer State University, brings a rich resume of work experience as a family nurse practitioner including serving as the Clinical Services Director of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Free Clinic in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
“Tina’s extensive primary care experience in a number of settings, along with her leadership of a free clinic in Virginia and her love of clinical care make her the perfect candidate for the Clinical Director position,” said Beth Morris, Secretary of the VIM Board of Directors. “Tina brings expertise to our patients, enthusiasm for our mission and commitment to the medically underserved. The board feels very fortunate to have her join us.”
Tina replaces Wanda Hadley who retired in March after 16 years of service.

She will also be responsible for providing direct patient care and will play an important role in the recruitment and retention of licensed independent practitioner volunteers.
“We are thrilled to have Tina Latta as our new Clinical Director. She blends knowledge and significant experience as a nurse practitioner with a passion for serving the uninsured,” said Keith Weedman, VIM Executive Director.
