Quality Information
Patient safety is one of the nation's most pressing healthcare challenges. In the U.S. our healthcare processes and systems are generally very safe, but accident do happen and perfect outcomes are not always achieved. Government agencies, purchasers of group health care, and healthcare providers are working together to make the U.S. healthcare system safer for patients and the public. Our goals include:
We continually look for ways to improve all processes to ensure the highest level of safety for every patient. We are interested in learning from patients how we might further improve the care we provide. We continually review the latest research to make sure we provide the most up-to-date treatments that are proven to be effective.
