Support groups are an excellent source of information and encouragement for people facing life-changing situations. Columbus Regional Hospital hosts a wide range of free support groups to meet the needs or our community. Bariatric Support Group
A support group for individuals who have had bariatric surgery and their loved ones.  This group generally meets twice a month.  For more information, call (812) 375-3333.

Bereavement Support Group - "Wings for the Journey"
A support group to help grieving parents and family members cope with the loss of a child. Location: First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus. For more information call (812) 378-0955.

Better Breathers
The Better Breathers Club (BBC) is a support group, organized through The Lung Center at Columbus Regional Hospital and the American Lung Association of Indiana, for adults with a chronic lung disease.  Club members share their experiences, knowledge, ideas and strengths to improve the quality of their lives.  Meetings include expert speakers, video presentations and roundtable discussions.  Afterwards, members mingle and socialize.  For more information, call 812-376-5757.

Diabetes Awareness and Education
A free monthly program isoffered for people with diabetes or those who have an interest in learning more about diabetes.  The program may include speakers and educational topics to provide support, education and resources.  Call (812) 376-5709 for dates and topics.

We offer a monthly support group for stroke survivors and their family, friends, and caregivers. This is a opportunity for stroke survivors and their caregivers to share their struggles and successes and to build a network of support.
