The following national and regional recognition represents some of the outstanding work by doctors, employees, and volunteers at Columbus Regional Hospital to be innovative leaders by identifying and implementing national models of excellence. This includes being Indiana's first American Hospital Association McKesson Quest for Quality Prize winner , Indiana's first Magnet hospital for nursing excellence and the second Indiana hospital designated as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
