Health Tip: Creating the Right Bedroom
(HealthDay News) -- To help ensure a good night's sleep, make sure your bedroom is built to bring on the zzzzz's.
The National Sleep Foundation suggests these steps to help foster better sleep:
Make sure your room is dark at bedtime. Dim the lights an hour before bed to help your body prepare for sleep.
Choose colors that are soothing, and make sure your bedroom is clean and uncluttered.
Maintain an ideal temperature of between 60 degrees and 67 degrees.
Select a mattress, pillows and sheets that are comfortable.
