Bariatric Medicine

The Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Hospital is seeking an energetic, highly motivated, Bariatric Medicine physician to join our comprehensive team. As an American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence®, we practice only top-quality care, ensuring efficacy of the procedure with each patient. Led by Southern Indiana Surgery's Dr. David J. Lee, The Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Health offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach for qualifying patients that includes bariatric surgery, nutritional counseling and psychological testing. Specially trained surgeons, dietitians, psychologists, nurses and doctors address each patient's individual medical nutritional, physical and psychological needs. We are looking to add a BC/BE Bariatric Medicine physician to provide care for patients undergoing a medically supervised weight loss program. Eligible candidates also include BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians who are willing to pursue bariatric certification. Bariatric Medicine - Nurse Practitioner

Endocrinology

Columbus Regional Health Physicians, a 90+ multispecialty physician group, and Columbus Regional Hospital are looking to employ an endocrinologist to support both the Hospital’s and the group’s primary care physicians clinical needs.
Candidates will have the opportunity to practice full-spectrum Endocrinology in an outpatient setting with opportunity to see a large non-diabetic patient population from a robust primary care referral base. For interested candidates there is also potential to collaborate with The Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Hospital. Led by Southern Indiana Surgery's Dr. David J. Family Medicine

Columbus Regional Health Physicians, a 90+ multispecialty physician group, and Columbus Regional Hospital are looking to employ full-time BC/BE Family Medicine physicians to continue their efforts to create southern Indiana’s premiere physician organization. Benefits Include a competitive health insurance package along with dental, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and flex spending accounts. Automatically accrue vacation, holiday, personal and sick days beginning your first day of employment, totaling 22 days of Paid Time Off. 401(k) retirement plan, Medical/dental and group term life insurance; Tax sheltered savings plans, 401(k) and a 457(b) plan; An annual continuing medical education (CME) allowance; Malpractice Insurance. ENT

Columbus ENT & Allergy is actively recruiting additional ENT physicians to join their team.

  • Physicians will join two physicians that are affiliated with Columbus Regional Health as Columbus ENT & Allergy, a division of Columbus Regional Health Physicians. The practice plans to expand to include a total of four physicians.
  • Diverse mix of cases & complexity through a full spectrum of services, including General Otolaryngology, Otology/Neurotology, Allergy, surgery of the head and neck, nasal and sinus disorders, voice and swallowing problems, audiology, and upper airway obstruction

Gastroenterology

Gastroenterologist sought for established private practice in Columbus, Indiana. Caseloads run from 130-170 procedures per month. The practice includes inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, routine GI diseases and preventative procedures. The practice performs BRAVOpH and therapeutic manometry. Research studies have included a Clostridium difficle trial, EXACT Trial, IBD studies, Humira and IBS constipation trial. A physician that is adept at therapeutic ERCP is preferred but not essential.

This opportunity offers a salary in the top one-third of the nation. Electronic records integrate check-in, scheduling, billing, medical records, radiology, lab which are at the heart of an efficient practice.


Hospice and Palliative Medicine

Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Care physician for medical directorship. This unique opportunity offers the following advantages:

Intensive Care - Nurse Practitioner

Columbus Regional Health Physicians has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join our Intensivist practice in Columbus, Indiana.

The Intensivist Nurse Practitioner is a member of the intensive care team in the adult Intensive Care Units and has as his/her primary responsibility the management of a caseload of critically ill complex (multi-organ) patients in an intensive care setting. The NP is under the supervision of the physician intensivist. The NP performs physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications and provides direct patient care services in the ICU setting.

Ideal Candidate:
* Experience NP with acute / critical care background.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in clinical service.

Work Schedule:
* 12-hour shifts
* 15 shifts per month
* 7 shifts of the 15 are night shifts (7pm - 7am)

Nephrology

Columbus Regional Health is looking to add a BC/BE Nephrologist to our community. Our goal is to allow individuals with chronic kidney disease to stay close to home when they need high quality kidney dialysis services. Columbus currently offers inpatient and outpatient kidney dialysis services by a team of dedicated physicians, nurses, technicians, dietitians, and social workers whose focus is to help patients across the continuum of care for their disease. Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine is one of the largest neurosurgery groups in the US and is based in Indianapolis, IN. Currently, our physicians see patients in 13 locations in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas including Lafayette and Muncie. Our group of 38 physicians is looking to grow and strengthen our regional presence in the Columbus, IN area by teaming with Columbus Regional Health.

A solo private practice physician is nearing retirement and Columbus Regional Health is assisting with recruitment of a physician to support its large Rheumatology patient base. The opportunity allows candidates to either join the established private practice or to become affiliated with Columbus Regional Health Physicians organization.

Private practice currently includes onsite Radiology and Laboratory services in a state of the art facility.

Successful candidates must be BC/BE, possess a strong clinical base of knowledge, as well as excellent training and skills.
