Job Description:

Provide and manage direct primary care/ internal medicine medical services including assessing and managing patients following standards and practices established by the Hospital. Perform physical examinations using appropriate medical equipment, instruments, and tests. Obtain medical history and documentation. Instruct patients regarding diagnosis, medications, and treatments. Perform procedures as necessitated by the patient’s condition, order or perform various tests and analyses to provide information on the patient’s condition, and diagnose the patient’s condition based on exam, tests, and reports. Prescribe and/or administer medications and treatments as appropriate to the patients’ assessed medical conditions, refer patients to community resources or medical specialists as appropriate for counseling or specialized diagnosis or treatment, and educate patients regarding overall health and illness prevention.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) or its foreign equivalent.

     

  2. Completion of a three (3) year residency program in Internal Medicine.

     

  3. Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine.

     

  4. Valid license to practice Medicine in the State of Indiana.

     

  5. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

The Baby-Friendly designated Birthing Center at Columbus Regional Health provides a full range of baby delivery services welcoming over 1,200 babies each year. Each LDRP room is equipped with state-of the-art equipment and is on the same level as a designated C-Section OR suite. The Birthing Center offers two levels of nursery care and includes a physician lounge equipped with a screen for fetal monitoring of each patient.

South Central Indiana Pathology, a small private pathology group servicing a single community-based hospital, is seeking an AP/CP board certified or eligible pathologist to fill a full time partnership track position in Columbus, Indiana by the end of 2021. Part time coverage will be considered. 
 
Qualified Candidates:
  •   AP/CP board certified or eligible
  •   Eligible for medical license in the State of Indiana
  •   Strong diagnostic skills in a wide variety of surgical specimens
 
Expectations:
  •   Requisite skill sets include general surgical pathology (practice skewed towards GI, breast, and lung), cytopathology, frozen sections, and rapid FNA assessment. No autopsies.

Columbus Radiology Physicians located in Columbus, Indiana is seeking a full-time radiologist.  Schedule for hospital location. On-Call approximately 10 weeks a year.   

This independent practice provides exclusive professional radiology services for Columbus Regional Hospital which includes an outpatient imaging center and a dedicated breast health center.
