Bariatric Medicine

The Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Hospital is seeking an energetic, highly motivated, Bariatric Medicine physician to join our comprehensive team. As an American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence®, we practice only top-quality care, ensuring efficacy of the procedure with each patient. Led by Southern Indiana Surgery's Dr. David J. Lee, The Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Health offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach for qualifying patients that includes bariatric surgery, nutritional counseling and psychological testing. Specially trained surgeons, dietitians, psychologists, nurses and doctors address each patient's individual medical nutritional, physical and psychological needs. We are looking to add a BC/BE Bariatric Medicine physician to provide care for patients undergoing a medically supervised weight loss program. Eligible candidates also include BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians who are willing to pursue bariatric certification. This opportunity offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including potential recruitment assistance to qualified candidates. Bariatric Medicine - Nurse Practitioner

Endocrinology

Columbus Regional Health Physicians, a 90+ multispecialty physician group, and Columbus Regional Hospital are looking to employ an endocrinologist to support both the Hospital’s and the group’s primary care physicians clinical needs.
Candidates will have the opportunity to practice full-spectrum Endocrinology in an outpatient setting with opportunity to see a large non-diabetic patient population from a robust primary care referral base. For interested candidates there is also potential to collaborate with The Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Hospital. Led by Southern Indiana Surgery's Dr. David J. Lee, The Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Health offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach for qualifying patients that includes bariatric surgery, nutritional counseling and psychological testing. Family Medicine

Columbus Regional Health Physicians, a 90+ multispecialty physician group, and Columbus Regional Hospital are looking to employ full-time BC/BE Family Medicine physicians to continue their efforts to create southern Indiana’s premiere physician organization. Benefits Include a competitive health insurance package along with dental, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and flex spending accounts. Automatically accrue vacation, holiday, personal and sick days beginning your first day of employment, totaling 22 days of Paid Time Off. 401(k) retirement plan, Medical/dental and group term life insurance; Tax sheltered savings plans, 401(k) and a 457(b) plan; An annual continuing medical education (CME) allowance; Malpractice Insurance. Hospice and Palliative Medicine

Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Care physician for medical directorship. This unique opportunity offers the following advantages:

  • Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree
  • Board certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties approved board examination, an osteopathic medicine equivalent.

OUR ORGANIZATION

Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Inc. is a not-for-profit, community based program providing care to persons with an advanced illness. Since 1980 Our Hospice has served communities in southern Indiana. Three offices located in Columbus, Greensburg, and North Vernon service a 15 county service area in southern Indiana.

Interventional Cardiology

OB/GYN Practice Opportunities

Columbus Regional Health Physicians, LLC (CRHP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Columbus Regional Health is seeking BC/BE OB/GYN Candidates.  The candidates would have the opportunity to view/interview with both OB/GYN practices located in Columbus, IN.

Both of the OB/GYN groups practice out of Columbus Regional Health, a 325 bed, not-for-profit regional hospital providing care for patients across the southeastern Indiana region.  The hospital is fully accredited by the national Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program. 

Our Birthing Center provides a full range of baby delivery services and support to parents before, during and after giving birth- welcoming over 1,200 babies each year. The Birthing Center is officially designated as baby-friendly by the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI).

Each LDRP room is equipped with state-of the-art equipment and is on the same level as a designated C-Section OR suite. The Birthing Center offers two levels of nursery care and includes a physician lounge equipped with a screen for fetal monitoring of each patient. 



Pediatrics

Columbus Pediatrics, a group of seven pediatricians, is seeking a BE/BC pediatrician to join their well-established and well-respected pediatric practice.  This is an excellent opportunity for a physician to grow a successful practice quickly while enjoying an active, family-friendly community.  The ideal candidate will want a busy clinical practice with in-patient responsibilities at Level 1 and Level 2 hospital nurseries.

PRN Hospitalist

Columbus Regional Health is seeking Internal Medicine physicians who may be interested in PRN hospitalist shifts. Currently the team comprises of eight physicians who have support of Nurse Practitioners while caring for patients at the Columbus Regional Hospital facility. Hospitalist physicians are not required to cover the CCU as there is a dedicated team onsite.

Nocturnist Hospitalist

Hospital Care Physicians, an established Hospitalist practice, is seeking BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians to join its practice. This practice opportunity offers the following advantages:

  • 12 hour shift rotation allowing for personal life balance.
  • Join a team of eight physicians and several Nurse Practitioners.  
  • Hospitalist physicians are not required to cover the CCU as there is a dedicated team onsite.

Radiology

PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY
Aris Radiology has a need for a General Radiologist to join our Columbus Regional Hospital based practice, located 45 minutes south of Indianapolis, IN. A qualified candidate will be seeking the opportunity outlined below which offers many advantages.

  • Daytime only, with no nights or weekend work required.
  • Opportunity to work in an established hospital, supported by  administration and experienced technologists that are driven to provide the best patient care possible.
  • The appropriate candidate will be required to perform all general diagnostic radiology services, including mammography and basic interventional work.
  • Seeking candidate with Medical Director attributes as well as leadership traits.
  • Individual must exhibit dedication to the radiology department.   Hospital committee involvement and radiology promotional growth will be vital to growing the practice.

Rheumatology

A solo private practice physician is nearing retirement and Columbus Regional Health is assisting with recruitment of a physician to support its large Rheumatology patient base. The opportunity allows candidates to either join the established private practice or to become affiliated with Columbus Regional Health Physicians organization.

Private practice currently includes onsite Radiology and Laboratory services in a state of the art facility.

Successful candidates must be BC/BE, possess a strong clinical base of knowledge, as well as excellent training and skills.
