Columbus Regional Health Physicians: A network of patient-centered care
Just what is a physician network, anyway?
The name implies a group of medical professionals under the same operational structure; however, Columbus Regional Health Physicians strives to be so much more for its patients and the communities served.
Columbus Regional Health takes pride in an ever-growing and advancing system approach to healthcare that provides the community, and neighboring counties, with the highest quality healthcare options for life’s journey, from primary care to specialty inpatient and outpatient services. Healthcare often starts with, and continues, through a relationship with a trusted primary care provider. Most important to the patient, is a care centered on him or her, with a plan that coordinates seamlessly among providers.
Columbus Regional Health Physicians is a network of more than 20 primary and specialty care medical practices using a nationally recognized care practice approach called Patient-Centered Medical Home. This approach has led to better health outcomes, quicker access to appointments, and overall improved experiences. Physicians work with nutritionists, life coaches and the patient to ensure care and proper health continues outside the exam room.
Our primary care physician practices for adult and pediatric medicine are conveniently located throughout the region and include:
COLUMBUS INTERNAL MEDICINE ASSOCIATES
Columbus Regional Health Physicians also includes a variety of specialty care practices ranging from oncology and cardiology to neurology and mental health.

Introducing MyChart for Columbus Regional Health Physicians….
At Columbus Regional Health, we strive to innovate and identify solutions that provide our patients with a connected, seamless healthcare experience. That is why, Columbus Regional Health Physicians, the network of primary and specialty care physician offices within the Columbus Regional Health system, is excited to announce a new, unified medical record platform in its outpatient offices. Epic, featuring MyChart, is a software program that houses electronic medical records that can be easily coordinated among a patient’s healthcare providers. That means one medical record with the most up-to-date health information, completely privatized and secured for each individual patient. This new system significantly reduces the risk of duplicate records and outdated health information as patients move through their healthcare services journey.
Even better for our patients, is the new MyChart application, which is an intuitive platform patients can use to access their medical record, keep track of healthcare services and appointments, schedule appointments, view test results and even communicate with their physician. MyChart is available via the Internet, and as a Smartphone application. Although patient medical records will automatically be housed on the new Epic platform, each patient must sign up to use the MyChart application. Your primary or specialty care provider within Columbus Regional Health Physicians will be happy to help you sign up for MyChart next time you’re in the office.
