Fund Supports CRH Employees

Hands clasped to form a heart shape.

Columbus Regional Health and its dedicated workforce have been fortunate to be the recipient of community support through the Columbus Regional Health Foundation since 1951.

New challenges and causes arise regularly and the local response to COVID-19 is no exception.

Each and every day members of the Columbus Regional Health workforce and our physicians and providers dedicate their passion and expertise to our patients and community and place other priorities second.

These doctors, nurses, technicians, aids, housekeepers, paramedics, EMTs and food service staff members serve as frontline response employees enabling CRH to complete its mission response to our community battle and they are supported by numerous others.

Without hesitation, they work in a high stress environment to serve patients.

The CRH Employee Relief Fund has been established through Columbus Regional Health Foundation to assist eligible CRH employees who are experiencing financial barriers caused by this life-altering crisis, including expenses such as basic housing, transportation, or childcare needs.

The fund is designed to provide a one-time grant to assist the recipient in accessing resources to meet unusual or unexpected needs that are immediate or time-sensitive.

These funds will be available to Columbus Regional Health employees for access services unique to them versus other available community resources, including United Way of Bartholomew County.

At this time we invite the community to support CRH employees, in any of the following ways:

  • By cellphone, text crhrelief to 202-858-1233 to make a donation
  • Visit:  https://www.crh.org/relief to make an online donation
  • Send a check, with note to CRH Employee Relief Fund, via USPS to Columbus Regional Health Foundation, 2400 E. 17th Street, Columbus, IN 47201

“During this time of uncertainty and unfamiliar challenges that we all face, Columbus Regional Health Foundation will not lose sight of its mission to support Columbus Regional Health, VIMCare Clinic and the Healthy Communities Initiatives as we care for our workforce” said Tina Vujovich, President, Columbus Regional Health Foundation Board of Directors.
