Pediatric Services

At CRH, we believe that children deserve care designed just for them. That is why we have a space and team dedicated to family-centered, pediatric care focused solely on the unique physical, emotional and social needs of children. 

With our team of Pediatric Hospitalists and dedicated pediatric nurses, your child will receive care designed just for them, close to home. 

Our dedicated team includes three Pediatric Hospitalists. These physicians are specially trained in caring for children and adolescents. This allows CRH to provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a singular focus on children who have been admitted to the hospital. 

Our Pediatric Hospitalists work with a certified pediatric nursing staff that does not work in any other area of the hospital. That means all of your child’s doctors and nurses are specifically trained in caring for children and spend all of their time in the pediatric unit.

Children do not experience the world like adults. That is why we recently renovated our Pediatric Unit. We added colorful waiting areas and exam rooms and updated our patient rooms with new beds so that children can feel more at home. We also have games and toys available to ease the minds of both patients and their siblings and families. Our rooms also include space for parents and guardians to spend the night.

We know that when a child is sick, the entire family is impacted. From the moment you walk through the door, we want you to feel like you are an important part of the healthcare team. We make it a priority to thoroughly answer any questions you have and include all members of the family in our conversations.

We provide comprehensive care for children for a variety of health needs including:

• Bronchiolitis
• Pneumonia
• Gastroenteritis
• Acute appendicitis
• Acute overdose

Our broad range of treatment options includes:

• Lumbar punctures
• IV fluids
• IV antibiotics
• Catheterizations
• High Flow Nasal Cannula respiratory support (“Vapotherm”)
