Columbus Regional Hospital has been named one of the top 100 Great Community Hospitals by Becker’s Hospital Review.
The list recognizes high-performing hospitals that have fewer than 550 beds and minimal teaching programs. Winners are selected based on data compiled from numerous sources, including Thomson Reuters, iVantage Health Analytics and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The list also recognizes the winning community hospitals’ commitment to the health of their local population through clinical excellence, community involvement and various other efforts.
CRH is one of only six Indiana community hospitals to make the list. Other Indiana hospitals include DuPont Hospital (Fort Wayne), Major Hospital (Shelbyville), Margaret Mary Community Hospital (Batesville), Reid Hospital & Health Care Services (Richmond), and St. Vincent Carmel Hospital.
