Effective June 24, 2025 Columbus Regional Health will no longer be in-network for Cigna Healthcare medical insurance plans. Despite extensive work to establish fair and reasonable rates, Columbus Regional Health and Cigna were unable to come to an agreement. This means patients insured by Cigna would be subject for out-of-network fees for services rendered through any CRH facility or physician office. This affects about 500 current patients in our area.

Columbus Regional Health understands any concerns surrounding this change, and we want to assure our patients that we are committed to helping them find the best possible care, close to home. Columbus Regional Health works diligently with commercial insurance providers to establish and maintain fair reimbursement rates for the services and care we provide.

Columbus Regional Health also values you as a patient and, if you choose to continue receiving services at Columbus Regional Hospital and/or Columbus Regional Health Physicians, LLC out-of-network, you may be required to pay more out-of-pocket costs.
