WellConnect of Columbus Regional Health is pleased to host the artwork of Adonna Combs & Justin The Artistic Horse. Adonna and Justin, collaborate to create Abstract Expressionistic paintings. The process involves an unconventional application of paint to create energetic compositions. Adonna selects the color pallet, Justin applies the paint to the canvas with a brush held in his mouth; the paintings are usually without a recognizable subject that tends toward amorphous shapes in brilliant colors. As the paintings evolve there are spontaneous aspects that are unexpected. These unexpected aspects usually improve the paintings in ways that humans couldn’t have imagined.
The process is the subject of the art itself.
