Artist Reception - Exhibit Columbus Interpretative Color & Form

Add this event to your calendar

Exhibit Columbus/Interpretative Color & Form serves to commemorate Exhibit Columbus, create pride and ownership on behalf of the Ivy Tech students and create a visually exciting new take on the installations in downtown Columbus. Students in two courses, Interdisciplinary Studies and Graphic Design II, partnered to develop an interpretative display of color & form for an exclusive exhibit at WellConnect. Exhibit Columbus was used as the contextual inspiration to explore design and color principles. Program chair Lloyd Brooks was the instructor.

Thousands of photos have been taken during the groundbreaking run of Exhibit Columbus. The challenge for this group of students was to move beyond a journalistic reportage of Exhibit Columbus and instead use their visual acuity to create personalized interpretations.  Students involved in this exhibit will have many successful contributions to their portfolios as a result of this exhibit. We hope the community enjoys the color and form inherent in the panels.
