Dr. Cooper graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing in 1998. He completed an internship at Mt. Clemens General Hospital in Michigan and an internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Cooper worked as a hospitalist for one year before completing a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
He has gained extensive experience over the past several years as a hematologist/oncologist practicing at various cancer centers in Michigan and Indiana.
Memberships, Awards, and Honors
Dr. Cooper is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. He received the Evans Scholarship for tuition and housing at Michigan State University from 1988-1992.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. They love to travel, golf, and enjoy watching their children’s hockey, dance, and swimming events.
