June, 2021 - Kori Morgan

Please share your story of why your nurse is so special:

"My husband came to the emergency room with weakness and no appetite on May 8th and found out he had multiple blood clots on both lungs and a mass on his left lung.

He was admitted and within a couple of days had several strokes; 5 to 9 of them to be exact. He also had a heart attack and couldn’t use either arms. He was in severe pain.

Kori went above and beyond to help him and me. He has bad arthritis in his back and the bed was killing him. She went and found him one of the new beds that adjust to pressure points to try to help his back.

I was staying with him and sleeping in a chair, she found me a recliner chair. His condition continued to worsen. I had been there 7 days and Kori brought me a cot that night to sleep on.

She ordered me food, when I felt I couldn’t. She came to comfort me and my whole family. She actually felt like a best friend to me and this was the first time I met her.

I went through an awful time and she was just awesome! She is a true example of a great nurse. I love her and was so happy when they would tell me Kori would be the nurse for the night.

Thank you for having nurses like her at the facility. I will be talking about her for a long time when I leave here. Thank you, Kori so much!”
