CRH Volunteer Service Awards

Congratulations to our many Columbus Regional Hospital (CRH) volunteers who recently received Service Awards! Their compassion embodies the spirit of our organization, and we are grateful that they choose to volunteer at CRH. Our volunteers make an important difference every day. We value the time they give and the service they provide patients, staff, and physicians.

The following message is from a LinkedIn post by CRH high-school volunteer Mohitha Sathish-Kumar about her experience as a volunteer:

"Today, I was awarded the 150-hour service award during the first annual service awards at Columbus Regional Health Hospital! I have been a volunteer at the hospital since the summer before my junior year, and with no hesitation, it has been a huge part of my growth, both socially and professionally. Three days a week I learn various skills like auditing payroll in Finance, filing charts for different departments of the hospital at the Volunteer office, and assisting customers at the Gift Shop to raise funds for the not-for-profit hospital! All of these skills have taught me valuable lessons I hope to carry with me in college. I am forever grateful for the community that I have fostered at the hospital and hope to remain a part of this family forever."
