The Joint and Spine Center at Columbus Regional Health is partnering with Southern Indiana Orthopedics to bring the community a joint screening and health fair through its annual event, “It’s a Joint Effort,” on May14 at Southern Indiana Orthopedics.

“It’s a Joint Effort” offers participants a free X-ray of the hip or knee to be scheduled and completed prior to the event, and a one-on-one appointment with a doctor to review the X-ray. The event features also a free health fair, joint care seminar and educational materials.

Registration is required and spots fill quickly. Each registrant will schedule his or her X-ray prior to the day of the event, as well as a block of time on the morning of May 14 for an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to review the scan and talk about options for joint pain relief.

For more information or to register, contact Southern Indiana Orthopedics at 812.376.9353, ext. 226 or 227.
