Hospital to host annual Rehabilitation Awards
The Rehabilitation Center at Columbus Regional Hospital will hold its annual Rehabilitation Awards Ceremony from Noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 13 in the hospital’s Kroot Auditorium. The ceremony will celebrate the achievements of former rehabilitation patients, as well as recognize rehabilitation staff. Ceremony organizers and participants are also honored to welcome Columbus Mayor Jim Leinhoop to this year’s awards.
The event begins with patient and wellness participant awards, including special recognition of the Spirit of Rehab Award recipient. Rehabilitation center staff members nominate former patients whom they believe exemplified dedication and positive attitude, and served as an inspiration for and validation of why the staff chose that line of work. The event concludes with staff and volunteer recognition.
The Rehabilitation Center at Columbus Regional Hospital works to assist individuals in recovering and rebuilding their lives following illness or injury. For more information about the awards ceremony rehabilitation services, contact Holly Voyles at 812-376-5194.
