Columbus Regional Health welcomes new radiation oncologist

Mark Henderson, MD, radiation oncologist

Columbus Regional Health is pleased to welcome Mark Henderson, M.D. to our active medical staff.

Dr. Henderson graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine, where he went on to complete his residency in radiation oncology. He then taught at Indiana University School of Medicine, serving as the medical director at IU Health Methodist Hospital. Most recently, Dr. Henderson practiced at Bay Area Hospital in Oregon, and taught at Oregon Health and Science University.

He is board certified in radiation oncology. He has extensive experience with advanced treatment options, such as stereotactic radiosurgery for brain and spine tumors, stereotactic body radiation therapy for multiple sites, HDR brachytherapy for partial breast irradiation and the delivery of unsealed sources for select patients with metastatic prostate cancer.
