Chief Financial Officer receives state honor
Columbus Regional Health Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Marlene Weatherwax was recognized as an honoree for Indianapolis Business Journal’s (IBJ) CFO of the Year Award. Weatherwax received the designation in the Not-for-Profit/Government category with for organizations with revenue over $100 million at a breakfast in Indianapolis.
Other honorees were recognized in the categories of private companies with revenue under $100 million and private companies with revenue over $100 million; public companies; and not-for-profit/government organizations with revenue under $100 million and those with revenue over $100 million.
Weatherwax joined Columbus Regional Health as director of finance in 1995 and was named CFO four years later. The IBJ awards program recognizes CFOs for outstanding performance in their roles as financial stewards of corporations and not-for-profit/government organizations.
