Angela Turner“I love bedside nursing – that is my calling. Patient care is my calling. That’s why I do what I do,” said Angie Turner, who has been a nurse at Columbus Regional Health for more than 18 years.

Angie is an RN on the 6 Tower Medical-Surgical floor. She feels being a nurse suits her personality well as she enjoys getting to know patients and helping to ease their mind as they face different health issues. She also likes the variety in her job and the learning opportunities it offers. “I’m never bored. Healthcare’s changing so fast. I feel I’m always challenged,” she said. While the pandemic has certainly been challenging, Angie has felt proud to serve the community throughout it. “I am honored to be on the front line to be helping with this battle. I’m there to help make a difference for the world,” she said.

Angie is grateful for the great team she works with every day. “I know I can count on them if I need them personally. We’re like family,” she said. That feeling of family has kept Angie working on 6 Tower her entire career at CRH. She also feels the organization has been very supportive in her career. “You can get as involved as you want to be. CRH provides you opportunities, and they’re always ready to help you advance if you want to,” Angie said. She believes that CRH is a forward-thinking hospital, always seeking opportunities to improve and innovate to provide the very best for patients and the community.

Angie feels at home at CRH and does not want to work anywhere else. “It’s not just a job. I’m in for my commitment to Columbus Regional Health. I want to be there because they’ve been good to me. I’ve always felt supported,” she said.  “I’m very proud to say I work for Columbus Regional Health – very, very proud.”

Angie, we are proud to have you on the CRH team and are grateful for your commitment to CRH, our patients, and community!
