The American College of Radiology (ACR) has designated CRH’s Breast Health Center as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence for 2022.

By awarding the Breast Health Center the status of a Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes the center with earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound (including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy). Peer-review evaluations, conducted in each breast imaging modality by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field, have determined that CRH’s Breast Health Center has achieved high practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs.

The Breast Health program at CRH includes screening mammograms, breast surgery, radiation and medical oncology services and cosmetic/reconstructive surgery techniques with a focus on breast conservation. The center offers 3D mammography, BRCA genetic testing and counseling, breast MRI and ultrasound imaging.

The ACR is a national professional organization serving more than 36,000 diagnostic/interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of medical imaging and radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
