After living in eight other states for the past 19 years, during which she completed medical training and held roles in the military, Dr. Batten is happy to be back in Indiana, where she was born.

Prior to joining Columbus Regional Health, Dr. Batten was most recently a Radiologist/Flight Chief at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. In that role, her work included managing equipment and personnel for a highly-functional Air Force radiology outpatient center and serving as the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians Training Center medical director for a 375-person medical-dental group.

When not working, Dr. Batten enjoys being active, playing games, serving as a Girl Scouts leader, crafting, baking, and watching the Indianapolis Colts.
