Biography
Dr. Porter joined Sandcrest Family Medicine in July, 1997. He was born in Santa Barbara, California and grew up in Oak Harbor, Ohio, a one-doctor farming community of 3,000 on Lake Erie. He graduated from Ohio State University and went on to obtain his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his specialty training in Family Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr Porter enjoys providing comprehensive care to the entire family.
Dr. Porter and his wife, Lisa, have two sons, Ben and Evan. They enjoy doing home improvement projects, traveling, antique cars and community activities.
