Biography
David C. Rau, M.D. has practiced medicine in Columbus since 1984. From Indiana University, he earned a Chemistry degree in 1978 and was valedictorian of his 1981 IU School of Medicine class. He then completed a three-year Family Practice residency in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Dr. Rau is board certified and continually active in self-education. He has full privileges at Columbus Regional Hospital. In exercising his strong interest in community health, Dr. Rau has been involved in the local Healthy Communities Initiative since its inception. He has been active in the Indiana State Medical Association and the Bartholomew/Brown County Medical Society.
