Denise Neawedde earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the IU School of Nursing in 2005. After working as an ICU nurse for 9 years, she returned to IU and obtained a Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2015. She has been board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP since 2015. A special interest in the importance of a healthy lifestyle led her to obtain certification in Lifestyle Medicine through ACLM in 2019. 

Denise feels it is a privilege to provide care to patients and is passionate in her belief that everyone deserves access to health care. She is excited to support the vision and mission of the VIMCare Clinic in her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner. 

Denise is married with 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She loves spending time outdoors and spends her free time hiking, kayaking, or camping with family.
