Columbus Regional Health

We are proud to enhance the quality of patient care by raising charitable contributions to underwrite innovative hospital programs and provide a safe and comfortable healing environment for patients. All Columbus Regional Health departments and service units may apply for a Foundation grant to implement innovative programs and processes that improve the quality and availability of services to patients.

Healthy Communities

Healthy Communities is working to make a difference in the health of Bartholomew County through the work of its action teams. These teams collaborate with a diverse network of community partners making a measurable, positive difference in improving access to healthcare, and in promoting healthy lifestyles and healthy relationships.

The Berman fund was established in 2005 by a generous challenge grant by Fred and Karen Reams to recognize the contributions and vision of former Hospital Trustee, L. Paul Berman, who passed away in 2005. An intelligent and community-minded individual, Paul spearheaded the Hospital's growth into a regional facility and championed the Hospital's renovation in the 1990s. The Berman Memorial fund endowment will support programs that will accelerate adoption of state-of-the-art, cost-effective patient care.
