The Columbus Regional Health Cardiac Catherization Lab Electrophysiology team, led by Dr. Albert Sey, is the first in Indiana to use the NuVision NAV ultrasound imaging catheter for AFib ablation procedures.
NuVision NAV is an ultrasound imaging catheter that gives precise 4D images from inside the heart. This catheter rotates a full 360 degrees for enhanced mapping of the anatomy of the heart structure and electrical pathways. NuVision provides real-time 4D visualization of the heart and improves procedure efficiencies and safety. It also interfaces with the Carto mapping system for improved procedure efficiencies and outcomes.
Using the NuVision NAV catheter enables physicians to access the complete intracardiac landscape for an entirely new perspective, offering superior visualization compared to traditional methods, such as transesophageal echocardiograms.
