Columbus Regional Health is pleased to welcome Kevina Schumaker to serve as its newest member of the Board of Trustees at Columbus Regional Hospital for a four-year term.  Bartholomew County Commissions appointed Schumaker to the board earlier this year. She replaces Sherry Stark who retired from the Board in December of 2021.

Schumaker has been very active in the Columbus community since 1997.  She currently serves on several boards in the area, including the Columbus Regional Health Foundation board, as a life member, the board of directors with Centra Credit Union, the Commons board, and as incoming chairperson with Turning Point Domestic Violence Services.  Schumaker is a former board member of the Heritage Fund Community Foundation, as well as past Chair for the Grants Committee within Heritage Fund.

She and her dog, Ralph, are Love on a Leash members in the community, and serve as a therapy dog team who visit the hospital, local nursing homes and Turning Point shelter.

Kevina is married to Albert “Hutch” Schumaker II and they have a son, Albert “Ab” Schumaker III.
