Become a Member of the Better Breathers Club
The Better Breathers Club is a support group for adults with chronic lung disease offered by the Lung Institute at Columbus Regional Health. Attendees share their experiences, knowledge and ideas to improve the quality of their lives. Meetings include healthcare professional speakers, video presentations and roundtable discussions. Led by a Respiratory Therapist & Registered Nurse, these meetings provide an opportunity to learn ways to better cope with lung problems while getting the support of others who share similar experiences.
How can I join the club?
Referrals or reservations are not required. To become a member, simply attend the meetings.
Who attends the club?
Attendees are adults suffering from:
- Asthma
- Chronic bronchitis
- Emphysema
- Lung cancer
- COPD
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Other respiratory problems
Attendees are welcome to bring their spouses or other family members with them.
