PRC Recognizes Dr. Rachel Kerschner and CRH

Congratulations to pediatric hospitalist Rachel Kerschner, MD, on receiving a 2025 Healthcare Leadership Award for Physician Partnership from PRC, our patient survey partner!

This award recognizes exceptional physician leaders who embody their hospital's mission to make a profound and meaningful impact on the patients they serve, demonstrating excellence in leadership and compassionate care.

Dr. Kerschner has made clinician well-being a cornerstone of patient care. By creating innovative support programs from reducing administrative burdens to launching peer support and a Code Lavender response for difficult moments, she has helped providers feel cared for so they can deliver their best to patients. She also led a multidisciplinary effort to strengthen pediatric readiness in the Emergency Department. With measurable reductions in physician distress and national recognition for her work, Dr. Kerschner demonstrates how supporting care providers directly improves outcomes for patients and families.
