Healthy Recipe: Chocolate Cherry Protein Bowls
Ingredients
1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese1 cup frozen or fresh pitted cherries, divided
1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. almond flour
Directions
Place cottage cheese, 1/3 cup cherries, cocoa powder, honey and vanilla extract into ablender fitted with a standard blade. Blend until smooth, about one minute. Divide into
two bowls, then top each with 1/3 cup cherries and 1 teaspoon almond flour.
Per Serving
Serves two; Serving size is 1/2 protein mix, 1/3 cup cherries and 1 tsp. almond flour.Each serving contains about 159 calories, 2 g fat (0 g saturated fat, 0 g trans fat),
2 mg cholesterol, 231 mg sodium, 25 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 21 g sugars and
9 g protein.
