Spotlight on CRH Occupational Health Services

Did you know that Columbus Regional Health’s Occupational Health Services has been providing high-quality medical care for non-acute, work-related injuries and illnesses in downtown Columbus since 2019? The office is located at 237 Washington Street.

Because WellConnect previously operated out of the same location, a WellConnect sign hung on the building for many years. This caused some confusion for people trying to distinguish between the two. The sign has now been removed to help increase awareness of Occupational Health’s presence in the location and the services they provide.

Now that you know where Occupational Health is located, what types of services can you expect to receive there? Occupational Health Services offers comprehensive medical care for non-acute, work-related injuries and illnesses to help both injured employees recover and get back on the job as quickly and safely as possible and to decrease employer costs. Services include work-related injury care, pre-employment health exams, drug screenings, immunizations, physicals, worker’s compensation injury treatment and management, and more. The downtown Occupational Health Services provider team includes (pictured left to right):  Mark Tyler, MD; Russ Combs, PA-C; Andy Pennington, NP; and Kelly Anderson, MSN, FNP-C.

As a reminder, WellConnect has relocated to NexusPark. The team continues to provide the same services, including, but not limited to:
  • Selecting a Columbus Regional Health primary care provider
  • Insurance navigation
  • Health and wellness community navigation
  • Spanish-speaking Connection Specialists who can meet with you in person or over the phone
For more information about WellConnect, visit crh.org/wellconnect, call 812.376.5136, email [email protected], or visit them inside Entrance 3 at NexusPark Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
