CRH Imaging Services Director Recognized

Bill Algee is pictured above receiving the award at AHRA’s annual conference in Phoenix in July. He was joined by AHRA President Kimlyn Queen-Weis and the 2021 AHRA Jim Conway Gold Award recipient, David Fox.
Columbus Regional Health Director of Imaging Services Bill Algee received last month the Jim Conway Gold Award from the Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA).

The AHRA Jim Conway Gold Award is the highest honor AHRA bestows upon one of its members. The award is given to an AHRA member who has made significant contributions to the association and, thus, to the profession of imaging and healthcare administration.
AHRA is the professional organization representing management at all levels of hospital imaging departments, freestanding imaging centers, and group practices. Founded in 1973, AHRA has 5,000 members worldwide.

Algee has been a member of AHRA since 1999. He served as the organization’s president from 2019-2020 and is a current AHRA fellow. This is the second award Algee has received from AHRA. In 2016, he was given the Award of Excellence for his contributions to the imaging field.

Workforce Spotlight: Vivian White, RN, Nursing Resources

Vivian White joined CRH 23 years ago after working in her local school system while raising four sons. When her youngest son was a senior in high school, she started studying for her Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree. Upon earning her ASN, she applied to CRH. “Columbus Regional took me under their wing when I had no experience. They oriented me, and they made me the nurse that I am now,” Vivian said.
