CRH Hospital Campus Resumes Normal Visitation

Recently, the area has experienced a steady decline in viral respiratory rates and hospitalizations. Therefore, in the best interest of patients and their loved ones, Columbus Regional Health is pleased to downgrade its current visitation restrictions on the hospital campus.

Effective March 30, visitation will return to normal operations, meaning visitors age 14 and up are welcome, at the discretion of the patient’s care team and any capacity restraints within the inpatient setting.

The following amendments remain in place:

  • Suggested visitation hours remain unchanged.
  • Modifications may be made in extenuating circumstances and are at the discretion of unit leadership.
  • Visitors may be asked to adhere to all safety precautions by donning masks and/or additional personal protective equipment (PPE) when needed and determined necessary by the patient care team.
  • Visitors experiencing symptoms of potentially contagious illness are discouraged from visiting.

The following remains in place for Birthing Center and Women and Children’s:

  • Laboring patients may have three designated support persons.
  • No one under the age of 14 will be allowed on the Birthing Center, with the exception of siblings of the newborn.
  • Visitor hours remain 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with no visitation allowed during Maternal Rest Time (2 to 4 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.).
