CRH Announces Chief Financial Officer

Columbus Regional Health is pleased to announce that Chris Winters has accepted the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Columbus Regional Health, effective September 21, 2026.  Chris has been serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer for the organization since June 2025.

As Chief Financial Officer, Chris provides leadership, direction, and administration of financial systems and strategy for all entities – Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus Regional Health Physicians, and Columbus Regional Health System Services.

Chris has been a senior healthcare executive for more than 35 years.  He obtained his Master’s in Finance from Georgia Southern University, and has a range of experience in community hospitals, physician practices, and large health systems. He has worked in various organizations across the country including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, in Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout his career, Chris has been responsible for various areas of operations including accounting, information technology, financial planning, business intelligence, health information management, patient financial services, and supply chain management.

Chris was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He and his wife of 29 years, Kelly, have two sons, Owen, 22, and Carson, 20.
