About Our Program

We offer a program that focuses on teaching you how to manage your pulmonary disease with education, exercise, and lifestyle changes.

The 12-week outpatient program serves patients with chronic lung disease. Patients receive comprehensive education in the care and management of lung disease and participate in monitored exercise to help:

  • Improve activity tolerance
  • Reduce shortness of breath through learned breathing techniques
  • Understand the use of medication and oxygen to control respiratory disease
  • Increase knowledge of diet and stress management
  • Assist with smoking cessation
  • Reduce hospitalizations

How Do I Get Started?

A referral from your physician is needed to enter the program. Please contact your physician to schedule a consultation with the pulmonary rehabilitation staff. Most insurance plans provide reimbursement for Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Please contact your insurance carrier for information or let us know if we can assist you in contacting your insurance provider.
