Vaccine Clinic Team Recognition

Keller last day july 30 2021_enews
Our Vaccine Clinic had its last day of operations on Tuesday, January 25. We want to recognize the hundreds of workforce members who were involved with the clinic in different capacities – from Pharmacy to CRH physician office staff (CRHP), IT, Facilities, Purchasing, Volunteers, Protective Services, EMS, and more. Individuals from Pharmacy, CRHP, and Volunteer Services were there for every clinic day.

Since opening on December 17, 2020, a total of 46,943 vaccines were administered (through January 18). That includes over 21,000 first doses, over 21,000 second doses, over 4,000 boosters, and more than 670 combined (first and second doses) pediatric vaccines. During peak times, the clinic administered as many as 2,000 vaccines per week. Its highest day was 455 vaccines. On average, 300 vaccines were provided per day between December 17, 2020 and June 2021, when the clinic had its initial close. The clinic reopened – Keller 2.0 – in October for boosters and pediatric vaccines.

Pictured are some of workforce members who worked at the Vaccine Clinic. Standing back row left to right: Jill Fraizer, Karen Sorrels, Kara Fleenor, Bryce Mitchell, and Chris Soedel. Kneeling and sitting front row left to right: Jenny Mead, Miranda Foga, and Krystal Wilson.

Thank you to everyone involved in providing this important service to our patients and community!

If you still need to be vaccinated, there are plenty of sites in the area where you can receive the vaccine or booster. Find sites through the COVID-19 Community Task Force.
